NEW UPDATE | Historical Imagery for Lower 48 States
Explore the Past: New Historical Imagery Feature Now Available!
Dive Into the Past with Our New Historical Imagery Feature!
We’re excited to introduce a significant upgrade to our imagery! Historical imagery for the lower 48 states, now replacing the SAT-1 satellite map. This powerful feature allows you to select past years using the date selector for in-depth analysis and better hunting preparation.
Using Historical Imagery:
- Identify Habitat Changes: Deer are drawn to areas with ample food and cover. By examining historical imagery, you can spot changes in vegetation growth or deforestation over the years, helping you identify new feeding or bedding areas.
- Track Regrowth: Areas that were impacted by events like fires or floods may show signs of regrowth that attract deer looking for fresh vegetation.
- Leaf-Off Imagery: Scroll through the available years in your area to identify leaf off imagery. While not available everywhere, most locations will have leaf off imagery.
- Identify Timbercuts: By flipping through the available years you can identify timbercuts on private and state land that isn’t available through our timbercuts layer.
Switch to the SAT-1 view and start exploring past imagery today to gain a strategic advantage for your next hunt!
